Have you seen those SNICKERS® commercials that feature someone who is acting not quite like themselves? The person is usually portrayed by a famous (or infamous) celebrity who is acting badly until they take a bite of a SNICKERS® bar and they are instantly switched back to being a normal person?
Those ads are fan favorite, they’re both clever and funny and that’s because we can totally relate to them. We’ve all had those moments, when we’re not feeling or acting our best.
I know I’ve have had those mom fail moments of irritability, whining and bad behavior. I find that the root of that behavior is usually caused by hunger. It’s gotten so bad at times that my kidlets have told me to eat a snack because the “munchie monster” has taken over!
So, when I need a little boost I grab a SNICKERS® bar because it satisfies my hunger. With just one bite I start feeling like myself again and I can get back on track to manage my crazy, hectic but fun life as a mom and career gal!
I don’t think you can go wrong with a classic SNICKERS® bar, I mean it’s the perfect combination of nought topped with caramel and peanuts and covered in milk chocolate. Lately though I’ve been partial to SNICKERS® Peanut Butter Squares and SNICKERS® Almond bars. Regardless which one I choose, a SNICKERS® is a great way to chase my hunger away STAT!
I always try to keep a few SNICKERS® on hand for when the rumble in my tummy starts, because I know that the “munchie monster” isn’t too far behind! The last time I was at my local CVS store, I picked up some bars.
They’re right there at check out, so there was no way I’d forget them after picking up a few other items. I keep some in my purse for on-the-go hunger and the rest in our home pantry for the perfect snack time nibble.
The other day The Hubs sat down with my seven-year old son to do some drawing. They are both big comic book fans and they thought it would be funny if they drew a comic about mom’s “munchie monster” and how SNICKERS® saves the day. Here’s what they came up with…..
