The inside of my fridge; order is absolutely necessary so I can keep track of what we’ve got and what we need

Maybe it’s the OCD in me, but anything that helps me organize, and yes, that even means in my fridge (don’t even get me started on the pantry!), gives me a sense of calm because I can accurately keep track of what we’ve got on hand in the house.

This is so funny because my husband is always complaining about the “science experiments” I’m conducting in the fridge – I put things in there and completely forget about them. I don’t know why we even bother with leftovers. Maybe seeing the exp dates on leftovers would help me remember.

Those are great ideas and would have been handy when I worked out of the house. Now, since we are home for every.single.meal I generally make dinner at lunch and we have ‘left overs for dinner’ or we have left overs for lunch if I make dinner.
