Some people are good at coping with it. I’ve asked friends how they deal with stress and I’ve gotten a range of answers. Some go the workout route – going for runs, playing tennis or even hitting a bucket of golf balls at a the driving range. Others are more introspective and write in journals, garden or knit.
I respond to stress by reaching for sweets or comfort foods – and lots of them. I love eating things like chocolate, cookies, candy, ice cream and worst of all, carbs.
Now, while these “indulgences” might be delicious, it always leads me to consuming empty calories that I regret later, especially when I look at my waistline!
Over the past three months I’ve been working hard on creating and maintaining a healthier diet. It hasn’t been easy, I’ve had to break a lot of bad food habits, such as stress eating. I’m proud to say though that I’ve lost 33 pounds!
Woo Hoo! Yea for me….
But now when I get stressed – whether it’s about work, family or that blog post that’s due tomorrow – I don’t want to blow all of my hard-earned efforts on poor food choices.
So to satisfy my stress cravings I’ve turned to Dannon® Light & Fit® Tiramisu Flavored Greek nonfat yogurt. It provides the sweetness/comfort food factor that I crave, but without the guilt!
Dannon Light & Fit Tiramisu Flavored Greek nonfat yogurt is not only delicious but it’s quite satisfying too. It has a good flavor, a creamy texture and thickness that make me feel as though I’m indulging in actual piece of tiramisu instead of a cup of yogurt!

It’s a perfect to eat for breakfast, lunch or even a mid-afternoon or midnight snack! I pack it in my lunchbag and take it to work. I’ve also eaten it in bed at night while I’m catching up on my favorite TV shows. It’s been a great choice for helping me with my goal to keep up a healthy lifestyle and weight.
Now it’s your turn to share. How do you deal with stress?
