In the spirit of the holiday season – which to me means sharing and giving – today The Harried Mom is teaming up with The Chirping Mom’s 12 Days of Toys Giveaway! Along with my “Show and Tell with Deb & Lisa” cohort Lisa Pisano, from Mom a la Mode, we’re thrilled to be Day 11 of this giveaway extravaganza. I want to thank to those new folks who found their way over here today and to my regular readers, there’s some holiday cheer in store for you all!
I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of Influence Central for Jif To Go Dippers.
I received a sample to facilitate my review and a thank you item for participating. #MC
Three o’clock in our house means two things. First, it means school’s out for the day. Secondly, it means it’s snack time for my two kidlets!
My kidlets favorite snack? Anything that involves peanut butter. They love it on bread, crackers, apples and my son will even put it on carrots (yes, I know that’s weird!). I like giving them peanut butter because it is a simple and delicious snack that holds my kidlet’s appetites over until dinner time.
So we’re big fans of Jif To Go Dippers, a new all-in-one snack pack. Jif To Go Dippers come in two flavors, Creamy Peanut Butter or Chocolate Silk, both with pretzels to dip.
Jif To Go Dippers are the perfect single serving-sized snack. It comes in a cute little cone-shaped container with one cup housing the pretzel crisps and the other for the peanut butter or chocolate dip, which make it great for on-the-go snacking. I don’t have to worry about having pretzels crushed into dust or finding peanut butter or chocolate smeared at the bottom of my purse or my kidlet’s lunch boxes or their activity go-bags!
Cuddling up with a good book has always been one my favorite things to do. I love escaping into the worlds and lives of the people, either real or fictitious, that I’m reading about. It doesn’t matter if it’s a book that I’m reading myself or one that I’m reading aloud to my kidlets –I start imagining myself as the person in the story and even start reading in their “voice,” which brings much delight to my kids! I ’m thrilled that they also enjoy books and listening to stories.
My kindergartener son recently discovered the many literary and gross delights of Captain Underpants. It’s different from any of the other books I’ve read to them before because it is a novel, with chapters and multiple volumes. So far we’ve read through six of the ten books in the series. Now while my three and half-year old daughter has listened attentively to these books, “Tra La La!,” she did asked me to find a book “just like that,” but for girls.
So we tried out Disney Publishing’s new chapter book series and magazine featuring Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck.
Before we decided to try this parenthood thing out with our two kidlets, we got Bailey. Our beloved cockapoo truly is our first child and she totally prepared us for raising children. Like any proud parent, I show Bailey off to EVERYONE. I carry her picture in my wallet and post embarrassing photos of her on Facebook. Well, look at her, you can’t deny that she is cute. Wait, she just not cute, she is downright adorable. Though she’s now six years old, she still has the heart and energy of that puppy I fell in love with the moment I saw her!
So when I heard about the GUND “Top Dog” Contest, I thought it was perfect way to show off my pooch.Continue reading ⇒
