My son is now at that age that he is totally into all things LEGO®.   At the age of five, he’s graduated from his pre-school Duplos (which he has kindly given to his little three-year-old sis) and has moved into full-on building mode with his Hero Factory robots, villains and monsters and more recently, building his very own far, far away galaxy with LEGO® Star Wars.

“Helping” Dad At Work

The past two weeks have been totally insane at work.  I have a work project that launches in less than two weeks – YIKES!   I’ve been wearing my PR gal hat in writing, pitching and placing stories and literally crossing-off the days until this project kicks-off.  The last thing I’ve been motivated to do when I’ve gotten home tonight – after seeing the kidlets off to bed – is sit down and write some more for my blog.  I’m tired, unmotivated and a week behind in my soap opera….so my dear, kind and supportive husband Tyler — AKA @DadandMarried surprised me with this guest post.  He’s a great dad and I know you’ll enjoy his guest post here today!

Wordless Wednesday – The Snack of Super Heroes

While I was getting my 2 1/2-year-old daughter dressed for nursery school yesterday morning, she announced that she was a Super Hero. She then proceeded to march down the hall to the bathroom stark naked except for a pair of pink sunglasses and sat on the toilet.  After bursting out in laughter, I managed to ask her what kind of Super Hero she was.  Without skipping a beat, she told me Rockstar Super Hero.  Clearly, the teenage years with her are going to be interesting!
