Imagine the scene as our story begins…

A nice, quiet tree-lined street in a small town. It could be anywhere USA. In the foreground is a red-brick elementary school.

It’s a beautiful and sunny weekday afternoon, just around 3 o’clock. Moms and dads have gathered on the blacktop immediately outside the school. We see the parents chatting peacefully with one another about homework assignments, after school activities, play dates, sports and even weekend plans.
