The Laundry Rules Have Changed – Purex No Sort for Colors Detergent Review & Giveaway

It’s no secret that I love doing laundry. I guess I enjoy the routine of the process – the sorting and the folding. I can get pretty obsessive sometimes sorting my laundry. I make piles of darks, semi-darks, whites, brights, towels and delicates. Every once in a while a stray item gets tossed in the wrong pile and suddenly a nice white t-shirt is turned into a red one or a dark sock gets in a load of whites and suddenly everything is gray.

THM_PurexNoSortForColors_2Wouldn’t it be great if you didn’t have to worry about sorting your laundry or what detergent to use and just toss everything in one big load in the washing machine?  The laundry rules have changed and you can with Purex® No Sort™ for Colors detergent.

We’re talking true laundry innovation here. Purex No Sort for Colors detergent features a breakthrough in what they call anti-color transfer technology (who knew there was such a term!). What that means to moms like you & me or anyone else in charge of the laundry is that this detergent actually traps the loose dye in your wash and does not let them settle onto other fabrics. That reduces color bleeding accidents in your mixed color loads and leaves your clothes looking bright and clean.

Now let me tell you up front, Purex No Sort for Colors detergent can’t work miracles, so you still need to wash any new pieces of clothing, especially jeans, separately the first few times you clean them before tossing them in with the rest of the laundry.

I’ve been using this detergent for a couple of days and trust me; it working great! Every woman has to do the laundry in their daily routine, but sometimes it becomes an irritating. At that time, we need a break from the dirty stuff laundry.

I hate most is the putting the clothing away—it’s so time consuming.

I really don’t mind doing laundry but it takes me awhile to get it folded & put away. I love hanging clothes outside in the spring/summer! :)

I agree with you. I love putting my clothes outside in the summer. Actually, when I do that it seems laundry isn’t such a big chore.

I like folding and putting clothes up. It relaxes me. I do not like to sort, and I hardly ever do. I will end up having a pile that isn’t big enough for a load and then a pile that is too big for a load, but not big enough for two.

  5. Leah Shumack says

I hate having to carry the loads up two flights of stairs and then folding and putting them away!

The thing I like the least is folding the laundry, which leads into my next least favorite thing, putting it away.

Purex no sort. What a dream for a mom of 3 crazy bays. And a carpenter hubby. Great idea. Would love to swim and give it a try.

I don’t mind putting it in & switching it to the dryer…but I don’t like the folding & putting away!

I actually don’t mind doing laundry either! I am guilty of mixing my whites in with everything else anyways.. So I should probably start buying this stuff just to be safe!

I don’t mind doing laundry at all to answer the g/away question. :) I like that this makes it easier though. I’m all entered, thanks for hosting!

I need to try this since I rarely sort the laundry. My biggest challenge is getting the clothes put away instead of letting them sit in huge piles on my couch.

I have to admit, I do not sort laundry. I haven’t in years. Unless it is something that really has to wash alone then I just chunk it all in the washer. I don’t have space to sort it out and make separate piles, or have separate baskets for each color. When I had a huge laundry room, I did sort. I sorted by darks, lights, whites, and jeans. When we move I’m hoping to get a bigger laundry room. Maybe then I can at least go back to washing my whites separate from everything. Oh- I use the Purex single pod things that you just toss in the washing machine! Love them.

I am not like you at all… I loathe laundry, especially folding. lol However, not having to sort might make me loathe the laundry a bit less. With a family of 6 -5 who aren’t always good about putting their whites in the “whites hamper” and their darks in the “darks hamper”- life sure would be a lot easier for me! I’ll have to check this out!
