What Gets You Fueled Up And Running In the Morning?

What gets you running in the morning?  For some people, like The Hubs, it’s coffee – he likes it both hot and cold but it totally depends on his mood.  As for me, I’ve never been much of a coffee drinker.  While I love the aroma of coffee, my stomach isn’t a big fan, which is why I always opt for tea.  Now it doesn’t matter to me if it’s winter, spring, summer or fall – I always like to start my day (or for that matter, end my day) with an iced tea.

DD_LogoNow Dunkin’ Donuts, America’s all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods is giving fans a sipping start to 2014 with a special deal for iced beverage lovers in the New York Metro area*.  From now through January 26, all Iced Coffee and Iced Tea in any size is just 99 cents at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants.
dd_icedcoffeeYou can customize your Iced Coffee to be just the way you like it with many different dairy, sweetener and flavor options when you order your drink in-store.  Dunkin’ Donuts features an innovative process for brewing their Iced Coffee, called double brewing, which uses twice the amount of coffee when making the beverage so that it’s never tastes watered down.

DD_icedteaI enjoy Dunkin’ Donuts’ signature Iced Tea which is a traditional black tea that has a well-balanced, bright, flavorful and brisk taste.  I also like that Dunkin’ Donuts sources its tea from members of the Ethical Tea Partnership, a not-for-profit organization established in 1997 that is supports tea farmers’ lives, the environment and ensures a sustainable tea supply for the future.

I drink a soda to get me going in the morning and then water the rest of the day. :) My dh is a coffee fiend and he would love this though.

There are no Dunkin’ Donuts in my area, which is probably for the best. But I’ve missed their coffee ever since I left New Jersey.

Lately, I start the day with caffeine-free mint tea and have some tea or coffee around noon. I’ve found that I don’t actually need caffeine early in the morning, but if I don’t have some later, I get a headache in the afternoon.
