Wordless Wednesday – Jonesing For the Jersey Shore

On this day when I bundled my kidlets and myself up to go out, I suddenly craved summer and the Jersey Shore.  This is a typical site “down the shore” – storefronts where you can get all sorts of crazy decals pressed onto your summer shirts! Here’s what Wildwood, NJ had to offer this past summer.  Only 147 til the official start of summer….

    • Wildwood is great. I only started going there once the Hubs & I had kidlets. I grew up as a Seaside Park (right next to the Heights) gal….so this is really going south for me! thanks for the link up!

    • It totally is, you can’t even walk around in most of those places they are crammed with shirts, sweatshirts, shorts & pants. You can get a decal of anything put on anything!

    • It is – it makes me think of the boardwalk, the sand, the smells and all the sights of summer!

    • It is definitely an experience – go during the height of summer on a Friday or Saturday afternoon to night. It’s so much fun. You’ll feel like a kid again!

    • It is a fun place…in Wildwood they also have a tram car that runs along the entire boardwalk and all you hear blaring is “watch for the tram cars please!” nothing beats it!

    • I know what you mean, it’s not the beach – it’s the shore, it means so much more. Avalon is great too! All those communities have something great and fun to offer!

    • If you ever get the chance you should do it. Get a slice of oversized pizza, some lemonade and either custard or Polish water – what a treat!

    • It is a lot of fun. One of the best parts is at the end of our vacation and we go to one of these places to pick out our shirts to take home. I always come back with something crazy!
